"I'LL ALWAYS TRUST MY WARN WINCH"
Corey Osborne from Colorado - Submitted on 04.15.08 During our 9th year in Moab for Easter Jeep Safari, I put my jeep on its side and kind of "slid" down the rock face we were attempting to climb. Before my buddy in front of me could get positioned for me to attach to him, the guys in our group had two straps on me...but were pulling in the wrong direction...which spun the jeep around before I was even out of the jeep. Once I was out (unhurt but shook up) I attached to my friend on top of the obstacle while keeping the straps on to keep me from going back over.....once I was tight and under the power of the winch, it held tight and pulled me to the top of the obstacle. A bit of body damage but nothing crazy. A strap up front would never have worked because of the tight canyon and room to maneuver was limited. I'll always trust my Warn winch!
